President's Welcome

Greetings! It is my honor and pleasure to serve as the 14th president of the Potomac (VA) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated. Established in 1984, the Potomac (VA) Chapter is comprised of 70 dynamic and talented women committed to providing high-impact programming and philanthropic support to individuals, communities, and organizations in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. I invite you to explore this page to learn more about our Chapter and the work we do to serve and strengthen the communities where we live and work.

 
The Links, Incorporated is an international, not-for-profit corporation, established in 1946. The membership consists of over 17,000 professional women of color in 299 chapters located in 41 states, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of the Bahamas, and the United Kingdom. It is one of the nation’s oldest and largest volunteer service organizations and is comprised of extraordinary women who are committed to enriching, sustaining, and ensuring the culture and economic survival of African Americans and other persons of African ancestry while remaining Linked in Friendship, Connected in Service.
